This is a terrazzo floor we did in Venice Gardens. The rocks in the floor are Georgia white. These rocks make up roughly 75% of all the rocks used in Florida terrazzo between 1957 and 1973. They were used because they were closer than any other marble stone, but they are softer than many other rocks. The floor had some glue issues and old pad damage tat could not be completesly resolved, but this terrazzo looks like a sparkling marble floor. Our system of restoration, using dry diamond grinding, honing, and polishing produces a great looking floor. It was done with precision, patience, and expertise. We do not use any acids or topical finish to produce this shine.
