Terrazzo chip hole repair is one of the most technical specialties we preform. These chip holes were around the size of a half dollar to a silver dollar. They’re caused by pulling nails. The holes here marked with blue tape. We always cut nails off, but every floor has a history. This history was carpet, tack strip, and nails. Someone took the easy way out and pulled them. Most people do not know any better with terrazzo chip hole repair. The first step is to determine what rocks are in the floor. We have all these types of rocks stored in our share house, and also carry every rock in our trailer we bring to the site. We pigment the binder to match the Portland cement. Learning to match holes like this takes years of training and practice. Some most people can never get this good.
We are the best because we will not except less. Color variation within the same floor can cause some holes to stand out more then others.
