These days we are working in Punta Gorda a lot. Since Hurricane Milton flooded much of Punta Gorda we have been back there over and over. This is our third week in a row working there. Many people are going back to the terrazzo as it is the least expensive floor to restore after a hurricane. Salt water can etch terrazzo flooring. Etching is a reaction that removes any, or all of the shine. With most terrazzo the etching is light and the floor will not be done. That being said, flood insurance should pay for that damage to be repaired.
These floors turn out looking great and for floors not damages before the hurricane every one of them can be restored. Give us a call and we will come out for a free on site estimate and an evaluation of the floors chances of restoration. We will also give you an honest assessment of how your restored floor will look.
As the owner I have been evaluating floor conditions for over 25 years.
